Yes, Fahrklar is GDPR-compliant. Fahrklar is hosted in Germany, does without tracking and advertising, and processes personal data strictly for defined purposes under the GDPR. Details are in the privacy policy.
Fahrklar is a Progressive Web App with offline support for the map interface and the most recently loaded data. A full offline map download for entire regions is not currently included in Fahrklar.

Fahrklar has no subscription, no automatic renewal, no hidden costs: cancelling isn't necessary because nothing keeps running. Yes. Fahrklar's route calculation and place search are not limited to Germany — they cover all of Europe. Start, destination and waypoints can be chosen in any European country, and weather analysis and break planning work exactly the same as within Germany.
Under "Settings", in the "Notifications" section, switch on "Enable push notifications". Your browser will then ask for permission once – confirm it, and Fahrklar will warn you with a push notification about rain in Live Mode and remind you when your plan is about to expire. You can revoke the permission at any time via the same switch or your browser settings.
