Fahrklar pricing (fahrklar.net/en/preise) is a one-time payment model with no subscription: a free Basic plan plus the paid Starter, Plus and Pro plans, each for 30 days of access.
When a plan expires, you can switch to another plan (except from Pro) or stay on the free Basic plan.
Fahrklar pricing is not a subscription: unlike most apps in this space, no plan renews automatically, and there's nothing to cancel because nothing keeps running.

No subscription. No automatic renewal. Nothing you'd ever need to cancel.
The Fahrklar pricing model is a one-time payment for 30 days of access instead of a subscription. Almost every app in this space runs on a subscription that quietly renews until someone actively cancels it — Fahrklar does it differently: the plan simply expires on its own afterwards. There's no notice period, because there's nothing to cancel, and no charge you didn't see coming.
When a plan expires, you have two options. Switch to another plan, or stay on the free Basic plan. Only the Pro plan doesn't offer switching to another paid plan. Your saved tours are kept in any case; the limits of the plan you're currently on then apply.
For a full travel season, the 3-month package is usually worth it: every paid plan is available not only as a 30-day payment but also as a 90-day one, at a lower total price than three separate 30-day purchases. This doesn't change the underlying model — still a one-time payment with no automatic renewal, just a longer term.
A Fahrklar waypoint is a point your route should pass through: the start, the destination, and every place in between you deliberately want to include. Three waypoints are enough for a straight connection with one stop along the way. Anyone planning a day tour over several mountain passes while taking specific roads quickly needs ten or more. The number of waypoints is therefore the most important difference between the plans, because it determines how precisely you can shape the course of your route.
The second difference between the Fahrklar plans is the range of weather features. Segment-by-segment weather analysis along the entire route is included even in the free Basic plan, because it forms the core of Fahrklar. Starting with Starter, automatic start-time optimization, rain-break planning, live rain radar and elevation profile are added; starting with Plus, route preferences and the "consider EV charging stations" route option, which shows charging points at the start, destination and every break for e-car tours; starting with Pro, live tracking during the ride, the fuel price display at refuel stops and ICS calendar export.
Because every plan ends on its own after 30 days, it can also be handled seasonally: Plus in summer, Basic in winter, without ever having to cancel or pause anything in between.
No. Every paid Fahrklar plan is a one-time payment for 30 days of access and does not renew automatically. You can still cancel your contract at any time via the cancellation button in the footer.
After expiry you can switch to another Fahrklar plan (except from Pro) or stay on the free Basic plan. Your saved tours are kept; the limits of the Basic plan then apply.
Payment for Fahrklar is securely encrypted via credit card or SEPA direct debit. All prices include statutory VAT. For the right of withdrawal for digital services, see the Right of Withdrawal page.
Yes. Fahrklar's Basic plan is free forever, with no time limit.
Yes, from the Plus plan. You can report bugs or request new features free of charge at any time. After logging in, you'll find this under "My Tickets".
Plan your first route without any payment details. A paid plan only becomes interesting once you're missing more waypoints or the rain radar.
